Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) provides hotel and catering services in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions, and with the period and details as confirmed on the reservation. Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) is not liable for circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control, including wars, acts of terrorism, riots, strikes, natural disasters, sanitary disruptions, restrictions by local authorities etc.

Inquiries and booking can be done via our web site, by mail, fax, or in person at the the hotel reception. When booking, the customer confirms that she/he accepts these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. Everything stated hereafter becomes legally binding both for the customer and Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou). When booking, the customer is required to give all the information necessary during the booking procedure.

According to the Grenadian Tax Law, the customers are required to pay the GCT or VAT plus Service Charge when paying for their accommodation. The GCT in the state of Grenada is 8% and the service charge is 10%. The amount of the GCT and Service Charge to be paid, is payable together with the balance of the cost. The amount of the GCT and Service Charge paid will be clearly specified on the invoice issued by the service provider.

The price of the services includes the basic service per person/day or per unit as described in the price list. Additional services are not included in the price of accommodation, therefore the customer pays for them separately. Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) reserves the right to change the prices of service at any time. For customers who have paid an advance or deposit for their reservation, or provided acceptable reservation guarantee, Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) guarantees accommodation rates valid at the time of booking.

Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) accommodation units are categorized and described in accordance with the official categorization of the Grenadian Board of Tourism and its authorized agencies.

Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) reserves the right to change or modify a reservation in case of circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control that cannot be predicted, avoided or rectified. Confirmed accommodation unit can be substituted by an accommodation unit of the same or higher category and at the price confirmed at the time of booking, provided that customer is notified in advance. In cases where substitute accommodation unit is not available, and the accommodation is paid in advance, Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) reserves the right to cancel the reservation and refund the complete amount paid.

If the customer wishes to change or cancel a reservation, this must be done in written form (email, mail, or fax). Changes must be made at least 2 days prior to the arrival date. In case of cancellation the cancellation policy will be applied as follows: For cancellations made less the 2 days prior to arrival or a "NO SHOW" situation, 2 overnight(s) per person in selected accommodation price will be charged. In circumstances caused by conditions beyond their control, customers must produce a written statement to Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou)

It is Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) obligation to take care of provided services, hosts, and customers interests and rights according to accepted customs and practices in tourism. Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) will carry out all stated obligations in full and as described above, except in circumstances caused by conditions beyond its control.

The customer is required: to have valid travel documents, to act in accordance with the house rules in accommodation units. It is customers duty to check whether a visa or other travel certificates are required by the Grenadian immigration authorities, for the citizens of country of her/his origin.

The check in time is 14:00 and the check out time is 12:00 daily. If the customer fails to check out by the above stated check out time, extra charges will apply.

Sunset Beach Hotel (Carriacou) is not responsible for damaged, destroyed or lost luggage, as well as for the theft of luggage or valuables in the areas accessible to general public. Lost luggage or stolen goods should be reported without delay to the reception and the local police department.

Should the services provided not be satisfactory, the customer is entitled to seek reasonable compensation by filing a written complaint.

Any disagreements that may arise from these Terms and Conditions should be settled in amicable manner, and if that is not possible, it will be subject to settlement by the Court in Grenada West Indies.
